A.F.F.R.E.E.C.A. aims to solve the problems of adequate accessibility in housing, travel and hospitality for the disabled traveler. We offer accessibility consulting for corporations, individuals, and property owners who desire to accommodate disabled individuals. Through community outreach and education campaigns, the program can raise awareness about the importance of accessibility and the rights of individuals with disabilities, fostering a more inclusive mindset globally.
Founded in 2019, by Ivy Ngene who has been a nurse over 10 years and a caregiver for over 20 years, in all that time she has giving her life to the care of other, Ivy has experienced burnout physically, mentally and emotionally. One thing that has helped is travel small get aways have helped her experience the blessings of life. One setback is the lack of mobility accessibility a accommodation for her brother Ivory, who is disabled. The ability to travel comfortably with decency and with out disruption does not exist, and Ivy wants to change that. Lastly she would like to see improvement in home accessibility that serves the needs of the disabled and their caregivers with dignity and compassion.
Our purpose is to create a world where accessibility is the norm. We believe that by investing in accessibility, we are investing in the future of our society.
